The rhythm of nature, expressed through the four unique seasons—spring’s bloom, summer’s warmth, autumn’s transformation, and winter’s calm—came alive in a vibrant celebration called Seasons of Fun, organized for Nursery and Preparatory classes. The school’s Pre-nursery foyer transformed into a visual symphony of the seasons, with live music and themed decorations. The excitement began with a cheerful assembly featuring Nursery students dancing gracefully and Preparatory children reciting rhymes and songs about the seasons. Indoors, children engaged in creative, hands-on activities: from crafting seasonal cycle charts and sequencing picture stories to vegetable printing and storytelling with picture cards. These activities enhanced their understanding of nature’s cycles while fostering teamwork and creativity. Outdoors, the fun continued with energetic games like the Fill the Bucket Race, an obstacle course, and Seasonal Freeze Tag, where children joyfully enacted seasonal activities. A relay race, featuring tasks at each seasonal station, added an extra layer of excitement. Follow-up activities allowed children to reflect creatively—drawing their favourite fruits or vegetables and sharing stories about the day’s highlights. Motivators were awarded, reinforcing their efforts and participation. The event was a joyful blend of learning, imagination, and physical activity, turning a regular school day into a lively exploration of nature’s magic. Bursting with laughter, curiosity, and colour, Seasons of Fun not only celebrated the beauty of seasonal change but also encouraged young learners to connect with nature, think beyond textbooks, and embrace learning as a joyous journey.
